This is hands down the best Korean food restaurant whenever I think of Korean food. There is wait either on the phone or in line but it is so well worth it. The owner has a photographic memory and makes it an effort to remember all of her customers. She still asks me about my children who are grown and out of the house. I am happy they survived the pandemic and we are still able to enjoy them. If you want delicious meat or fish jun, this is the place to go.

Always very friendly and hospitable. The Big Bone Kalbi (juicy and tender and Onolicious) is my favorite, followed by Meat Jun (the best in my humble opinion and the sauce is wow) and Bibim Bap (perfect balance of vegetables). Call ahead to order or you’ll be very hungry after waiting for your cook to order meal!!! My family always comes here when visiting Hawaii.

I am from California visiting. A friend recommended this place, and he was 100% right!!! I got the combo with everything and was not disappointed. It was even better than I expected. Also, when I was in line, the customers and owner were so friendly. We talked about the area and food while we were in line. Great overall experience and highly recommended 👌.

All I can say is BEST MEAT JUN in Hawaii. You will not get any better than this. Only place I think comes close is Kim Chee 3 but they also use a different sauce. You will be first welcomed by the sweetest young lady who owns the place and her husband. They have had this business for over 20 years. I am sure they will also return to dine in , in a few weeks. All thier Korean flavors are just intoxicating , you will only want more but alas your stomach will be full... so come back again real soon.

Parking can be a bit tight and it’s take-out only for now but the service was amazing and fast and the Kalbi was obviously cooked and seasoned nicely and there was plenty of white rice too! Will definitely be coming back!

Yes to this place for there Meat Jun, Kalbi and BBQ Chicken. Located in Aiea Town Center right below the Anytime Fitness. You order first then sit down. I believe it’s a husband and wife team who make these amazing plates. I will say that everytime I go there it is crowded. Keep in mind, last good order taken is 7:20pm. The meat jun has a lot of flavor, it has also won Hawaii’s Best a couple time.

While it’s one of the legendary Korean spots in this part of the island, I didn’t think it quite lived up to the hype. My eyes were popping at the price per plate here…even the mini plates here cost as much as or more than a normal plate at other Korean places. I got the meat jun plate and while it did come with a good amount of food, it still didn’t really match the price. The taste was fine…I would put it at above average, but not definitively the best I’ve ever had. Then there was the wait. It took a whole 45 minutes to get my food. I can’t think of any food that would be worth standing in a hot parking lot for that amount of time.
